The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) must be in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Pay & Accounts Officer, HWP Talcher” payable on State Bank of India, Talcher Fertiliser Township Branch (Code No. 3312) or on any reputed Commercial Bank at Talcher/ Angul (in the State of Odisha). All the Demand Drafts/ paying instruments towards EMD/Security Deposit/ Sale Value must be purchased by the Tenderer. Name of the bidder/firm shall appear on the Demand Draft. The copy of the Demand Draft for EMD along with declaration forms (Annexure- G & H) shall be uploaded while submission of online bid. The Original Demand Draft towards EMD along with copies of uploaded documents shall be sent to the Assistant Stores Officer, DPS, Heavy Water Plant, Talcher, P.O.: Vikrampur, Dist.: Angul, State- Odisha, Pin-759106 in a sealed envelope superscribing boldly Tender Number and due date so as to reach before the due date and time. Offers received without EMD (original DD) will be rejected.

Location of Stores: In the premises of Heavy Water Plant, Talcher, Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India, FCI Township, P.O.- Vikrampur, Dist.- Angul, Odisha, Pin- 759106 (HWP Talcher is 150 Km from Bhubaneswar Airport/ Railway Station, 15 Km from Angul Rly. Station, 8 Km from Talcher/ Talcher Road Rly. Station by road)

Other important points to be noted:

2. Bidder/Buyer will be suspended from participation in tenders released by DPS for a period of one year if they withdraw bid within validity period, dishonor submitted bid within its validity, fail to abide by the terms and conditions of contract, fail to lift stores on time, make any false declaration.
3. DPS reserves the right to accept / reject any or all bids in part / full without assigning any reason.

De-enrollment from e-tender portal:
Bidders who are withdrawing the bids within the validity period of their offer and suppliers who fails to execute the contracts as per the terms and conditions of the contract are liable for de-enrollment from the e-tender portal for a specific period as decided by the purchaser.
